RANDALL CHRISTENSEN AND JANIE BRYANT NOMINATED FOR COSTUME DESIGNERS GUILD AWARDS

Emmy award-winning costume designers Randall Christensen and Janie Bryant are nominated for 11th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards.

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 19, 2009)—MLC PR announced today that two of their clients, Emmy Award winning costume designer Randall Christensen and Emmy Award Winning costume designer Janie Bryant have been nominated for the 11th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards.  Randall Christensen has been nominated for his work on the hit ABC series “Dancing with the Stars” in the category of Outstanding Contemporary Television Series, and Bryant has been nominated for her work on the Golden Globe award-winning AMC series “Mad Men” in the category of Outstanding Period/Fantasy Television Series. 

“We are so excited and proud of both Randall and Janie,” says publicist Jordyn Borczon.  “They are so talented in their craft; they make ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and ‘Mad Men’ even more exciting to watch!  We are wishing them the best of luck and crossing our fingers for wins.” 

Winners of The Costume Designers Guild Awards will be announced on February 17, 2009 at the awards gala. Founded in 1953, The Costume Designers Guild aspires to raise the stature of the Costume Design profession within the entertainment community commensurate with the incalculable contribution Costume Designers make to each motion picture, television, or commercial, illuminating the characters with accuracy and integrity, thereby enhancing the story.

MLC PR SIGNS 90210’s NEW HEARTTHOB MATT LANTER

With a new TV show and feature film in the works, “90210” actor Matt Lanter signs on with MLC PR


Los Angeles, CA (April 14, 2009)— Mona Loring, president of MLC PR announced today that actor Matt Lanter has officially signed on for her firm’s publicity services. Currently, Matt can be seen on the CW playing the role of “Liam,” the mysterious new bad boy dating “Naomi” (AnnaLynne McCord) and in the fall, he will return as a new series regular. In addition to his role on “90210,” he also continues his work on the record-setting animated television series, “STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS,” currently airing on the Cartoon Network. Matt also has SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT’S feature horror film “SORORITY ROW,” due out later this year.

Loring says, “Matt Lanter is definitely the next big thing in Young Hollywood. He’s got the chops! I am expecting to see him establish a widespread fan base between his charming good looks and exceptional acting skills.”

Often recognized for his series regular role as Geena Davis’ son “Horace” on ABC’s series “COMMANDER IN CHIEF,” Lanter has also recurred on two of television’s most popular shows; NBC’s “HEROES,” as the sinister quarterback “Brody” opposite Hayden Panettiere and CBS’ “SHARK,” as “Eddie.” Lanter can also be seen on shows such as “GREY’S ANATOMY,”  “CSI,”  “LIFE,” “BIG LOVE,” “MONK,” as well as the
MGM/ABC Family film “THE CUTTING EDGE: CHASING THE DREAM.”
